I’m Mike McKenna—a leadership coach, facilitator, trainer, and author dedicated to equipping leaders like you with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in any environment.
My Journey
My professional career began as a private investigator and security consultant, tackling white-collar crime and advising clients like General Motors, Disney, Nike, and Rolex on high-stakes security and investigative matters.
This path led me to join a local search-and-rescue (SAR) team, which ignited a lifelong commitment to serving others. As a member of Texas Task Force 1 (TX-TF1), I’ve deployed on nearly every major natural disaster between 1999 and 2018, including Hurricanes Katrina and Ike, countless tornado responses, and hundreds of missing person searches.
A Legacy of Leadership
My hands-on experience with crisis and disaster situations shaped my passion for teaching and mentoring others. To date, I’ve engaged with thousands of participants in-person—and even more through virtual training—to share lessons learned and foster strong, decisive leadership.
